At the School of Medical Aesthetics, we offer three courses. Medical Aesthetics, Advanced Medical Aesthetics and Botox and Filler. For each of our courses, we do have prerequisites and qualifications.
If you are interested but do not have all of the qualifications for the course you are looking into, you are still welcome to apply. Contrary to popular belief, it is not required to be a certified esthetician to enroll in this course. However, it is an asset. The qualifications for the Medical Aesthetics course are as follows:
Certificate course is open to all medical physicians. Includes theories, live demonstrations and hands-on trainings. Upon passing level 1, you are awarded Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine, endorsed by BA and may proceed to Level 2.
Advanced aesthetic medicines topics covering Cosmetic Dermatology, Injectables (advanced indications and techniques), Management of Complications, Sclerotherapy, Anti-Aging Medicines and Mesotherapy.
A two-hour written examination comprising of 100 multiple choice questions, and oral presentation. Upon completion, you demonstrated a physician's exceptional expertise in Aesthetic Medicine specialty. You are designated, Board Certified, DA.
A wide array of Master Courses is being offered to all medical physicians that includes theories, live demonstrations and hands-on trainings. Master Courses such as Thread Lifting, Hair Loss Management and Hair Transplant, Liposuction, Platelet Rich Plasma & Stem Cell Therapy, etc. Do Check as certain Master Courses have pre-requisites to attend.

UNIT #1 -- Medical aesthetics introduction
In this module, you will learn the difference between aesthetics and medical aesthetics. This module also covers the essentials of an excellent consultation as well as possible contraindications
UNIT #2 -- Skin and hair biology
This module covers the basics of the scientific terms related to skin and hair that you will use on a daily basis as part of the treatments you will be offering in your profession.
UNIT #3 -- Physics of laser

UNIT #5 -- Radiofrequency
You will learn all the types of radiofrequency that exist on the market and their effectiveness, the different treatment protocols such as skin tightening, cellulite treatment, and fat loss.
UNIT #6 -- Skin resurfacing
In this module, you will see all the different types of fractional lasers that exist on the market and their respective intensities. You will also learn the treatment protocols for wrinkles, stretch marks, and scars.
UNIT #7 -- Medical grade skincare products
You will learn the protocols and medical ingredients of the different products in the Dermastir, Obagi line and see how to combine them to treat a wide range of conditions.
UNIT #8 -- Chemical peels, microneedling and dermaplaning
This module will teach you how to perform popular medical aesthetic procedures such as dermaplaning, chemical peels, and microneedling.
UNIT #9 -- Advanced microneedling, PRP and vampire lift
You will learn how to use the different medical products as well as the different variations of technologies combined with microneedling to get better results. You will see PRP for hair loss as well as PRP for the face and body.
UNIT #10 -- Modern radiofrequency technologies
You will see all the medical aesthetic technologies on the market, and their different uses, and of course, their differences.
UNIT #11 -- Skin pigmentations
You will learn about the different pigmentations as well as the appropriate treatments for each skin type. This advanced module is necessary to obtain the best results for the different pigmentary conditions.
UNIT #12 -- Clinic complications
In our profession, the use of medical devices and procedures is done daily. Some risks are present, so you will see the different complications that can occur following treatment to adapt preventive and reactive measures.
UNIT #13 -- Art of communication in customer service
In this module, you will learn how to adapt your communication to the consumer’s behavior. Each person has different needs and objectives. Therefore, it is important to understand your customer to provide them with an adapted communication and to satisfy them and build their loyalty.
UNIT #14 -- Business strategies
Strategic planning allows you to determine where you want to take your business, how you will compete, and how you will get there. This module is comprehensive in terms of the different strategies to adopt in the medical aesthetic business.
PRATICAL PART - 40h in one of our schools
In the final week of the course, students have the opportunity to apply their learning to real patients. The internship is done under the supervision of the teacher.
You will learn how to inject botox and fillers safely and harmoniously. You will receive a complete training, both theoretical and practical. You will be able to practice injections with confidence and offer an impeccable service to your clients.
